Great stay at the Silvadee resort

Kind and Friendly staff Great service , clean and comfortable Stunning views from both pools. Yummy food at the star moon and heights Breakfast is amazing. Private beach is beautiful.

Many mosquitos so needs fumigation more often Roads are not very even inside to walk so walking may not be for people with knee issues. Prompt Buggy service is however available.

Stayed with my girlfriend for a few nights for some relaxation and couldn’t have chosen better.

We paid to use the spa services which were just stunning.. and the food at ‘Heights’ restaurant was very high quality… perfectly cooked, delicious and beautiful to look at. Also the staff are so helpful and friendly.

The pools are quite small, but never over crowded. However the private beach looked like it could do with some attention and a clean.

The staff was amazing, they really wanted to make us happy!

Property is older and needs some updating. We upgraded our room to the pool villa with sea view. The villa is very noisy, we had difficulties to sleep.

Excellent. Worth every money spent.

The service here is excellent, The staff is all nice, friendly, and well-manner. They are willing to help all the time. The breakfast is the best I've ever had. The view from the main pool is superb. This place is worth every money spent.

The location is a bit far from all the famous restaurants, but it provides the benefit of more privacy.

perfect romantic break and dinner on the beach was very romantic and refreshingly cool

breakfast buffet ok but would be better if available a little later, I had pool access room which was perfect for what I wanted and the hotel pool looked good too the room was nice and clean and the bed was superb, I have stayed at many 5 star resorts in thailand for the last 20 years and have travelled there over 30 times and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at , and ko samui is a beautiful island and I would recommend it highly

not much I woulld change , I had a perfect stay I tried another 5 star in lamaii and that was more expensive but I preferred this one

Great Resort

Overall: Overall the Silavadee is an exceptionally beautiful resort in Samui. The resort is located at the cost with a beautiful view over the sea. Rooms are clean and the service is good. The restaurants are good - the breakfast is very nice. Some things can be improved - see detailed rating below. Location: The resort has a very beautiful location at a cliff, located directly at the ocean - surrounded by beautiful stones and the beautiful sea. It takes around half an hour to the shopping mall and about the same time to the airport. The hotel offers a transport but you can take a taxi as well. From the shopping mall we paid around 450 THB for a taxi. Pools: The hotel has 2 pools which are open to all the guests. The pools are beautiful infinity pools which offer a great view over the sea. As most guest have their own private pool at the villa the pools are not very crowded. The pools are clean and a bar close by. One of the pools has an integrated pool bar. As the pools are very beautiful and not very crowded I would rate them with 5 stars.

Beach: To me the beach was disappointing. In general it is a very beautiful area surrounded by stones and a reef. We were there in february and there were a lot of waves and it was very windy - this is of course not the fault of the resort. Also a lot of plastic can be found at the beach. Probably due to the wind and the waves but we didn't want to stay at the beach because of that. It should have been cleaned better especially as trash was also at the places where no water reached the shore. Not clean and just not a place where you want to stay. It should be done more attentively as I think the beach is one of the resorts assets. So the beach gets a 3 star rating due to the lack of cleanliness. A la Carte: The a La carte menu is ok. Some dishes are recommendable but some I should have avoided. The Thai dishes are very tasty - also the more European dishes like past and pizza are very nice. The prawns were especially tasty. We tried the surf and turf which was a mistake - the lobster tasted old and the Wagyu was completely off. The drinks they offer are great - very nice cocktails and nicely prepared. Best thing definitely is the coconut to order (I can only recommend) 4 star rating for the a la carte menu

Sweet beginnings at Silavadee

The kind staff, attentiveness, gorgeous surroundings and the food is so beautifully done. I had my wedding here and it was seemless from pre wedding meetings to the end of the night reception on the beach. Thankyou to the Silavadee team for making this stay one I will treasure forever.

Tucked away sumptuous heaven!

For this part of our stay on Samui over Christmas we wanted somewhere away from the crowds and Silvadee certainly delivered. We splashed out on a villa with infinity pool that was enormous and we did not stray far from it during our stay. Best selection of breakfast choice of any hotel I have ever stayed in and very pleasant staff throughout the complex.

The private beach was attractive but perhaps a bit small comprising a strip of sand in a rocky cove. Lovely cooling breeze coming off the sea and the small waves meant the water was a bit too cloudy for snorkelling. Also, rather too long a wait at breakfast for tea and coffees to be ordered and delivered. That should come straightaway really if you are like me and need your cup of tea first thing in the morning. These are not big issues but detract from what would otherwise be the perfect stay!

The Villa was spacious and very well designed. Staffs were professional and the service is well delivered. There is shuttle to the main beach everyday but we did enjoy much more just spend the time at the resort.

Food here is so average Thai food was only ok, and the western food really missed Not being able to poach an egg is always an indication ! Sad as this was the only thing that disappoints Staff are all so lovely and really welcoming and caring
